This work is a mix of cast objects that have been recarved and combined with found and constructed materials. The background is layered paint, the figures are cast and painted, the floating cloth is fabric placed, sized and painted.

How does a work begin? It usually starts with one or more created or found objects and develops by the exploration of different relationships of shape, color, texture, composition and content until a unifying point is reached.
